When to Do a Maternity Photoshoot?

If you want the best timing for your pregnancy photoshoot, aim for a session between 32-36 weeks, whether it’s outdoors or in a pregnancy studio. You can push it to 38 weeks if you want to, but we wouldn’t recommend it, especially for outdoor sessions.

How Long Before to Make a Booking?

Our appointment slots are available for booking up to 2 months in advance. That means if you aim to do your maternity photoshoot at 32 weeks into your pregnancy, you can start booking when you reach 24 weeks.

During the session, we’ll capture many high-resolution images, typically ranging from 50 to 80 or even more. And here’s the cherry on top: you get to pick your favourite 30 shots for editing! We want you to shine in your photos, so we’ll make sure you look radiant. And if you’d like, we can even lighten stretch marks if that’s what you desire.

We take extra care in filtering the photos we deliver to you. We make sure to remove any repeated blinked shots, action shots, or pesky movement blur. That means you’ll receive a collection of quality images that are guaranteed to be the best of the best!

We use professional image editing software to process your photos! For our brave and graceful mummies who took up our maternity photoshoot packages, we are extending more in-depth editing for your individual portraits. They are highlighted in orange below.

The general editing includes:

  • Custom black and white filters upon request.

During the session, we’ll capture numerous high-resolution images, typically ranging from 80 to 150 or even more, all of which will be returned to you. From there, you can pick your favourite 50 for editing. Our editing process focuses on enhancing lighting, contrast, and white balance, ensuring your photos look stunning. Plus, we’ll do our best to ensure no unwanted “photo bombers” end up in your shots!

Taking up our pregnancy photoshoot package in Singapore does not limit you to just maternity portraits – you can also take fun photos with your loved ones and enjoy a change of outdoor scenery! Why 2-hours? There will be walking involved, as well as resting for short breaks in between – just let the photographer know should you want to take a break. There will also be instances from passers-by where we would like to avoid including them in the frame. Over the years, we found that 2 hours provides ample time for a fulfilling session while prioritising your health. Do also note that the photos will be filtered, such as repeated action shots, blinked shots, movement blur, etc.
